Scarlett Johansson has received the best actress award at the Rome film festival. The prize, voted for by an international jury headed by director James Gray, was awarded to Johansson for her performance in Spike Jonze’s Her.
Johansson plays a computer operating system called Samantha who falls in love with her owner, played by Joaquin Phoenix. She is heard off camera, but never seen on screen.
