BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — KARE 11’s news and creative/marketing teams were recognized with 25 Emmy Awards on Saturday at the 2021 Upper Midwest Regional Emmy Awards.

The honors included the prestigious Overall Excellence (as a station) and News Excellence awards, with KARE 11 winning both awards for the second consecutive year.

The 2021 Emmys included newscasts, reports, and promos aired from June 2020 through May 2021. KARE 11 led all stations in the Upper Midwest chapter with 69 total nominations.
